Playschool
Doggy daycare is called Playschool at the Canine Academy & Playschool. On any given
weekday, as many as 30 dogs spend the day playing, walking in the park, napping
and learning good doggy manners. The academy opens at 7 a.m. and the first play period
is from drop-off to 10 a.m. Then the dogs are all walked in Piedmont Park and then
take a nap. After the dogs awake at 3 p.m., instructors give individual "snuggle
time" to each dog until 4 p.m. when the second play period occurs until the dogs
are picked up by their owners at 6:30 p.m.
The 2,500-square-foot padded playroom in the academy allows the dogs to run, jump,
catch balls and play on the agility equipment. Playschool cures doggy boredom in

Playschool cures doggy boredom in an environment that provides for a positive outlet
of energy while your dog has fun playing and exercising with his friends! We are
now accepting applications for our Daycare/Playschool program. Monday through Thursday
are for bigger dogs and Friday is reserved for "little" dogs (under 30 pounds).
All Playschool dogs come on a regularly scheduled basis (at least one day per week)
with a three month commitment. All dogs must pass a temperament test to become enrolled
in Playschool. The fee is $23.00 per day. Please complete and return the enrollment
application and we will call you to schedule an interview for you and your dog.
